today was one of those days that i felt lazy... didn't wanna blog, read blogs, watch tv, sketch- i felt blech! and to top it off, i fixed my hair several times only to get it mussed up by a bored toddler and too much laying down on the couch... i couldn't even bake since my oven is on the fritz... but the mail came- and that added some sweetness to the day... miss raesha sent me a sweet surprise package!!!! this was a pretty item with the cutest poem... i should practice what it says since i tend to get obsessive with cleaning... hehe... isn't it cute?! it was put in a frame right away! later today (since its 3:53AM) i will hang it in the baby room....
raesha also sent some baby girl clothes.... the first girl clothes for isabella!!!!! all pink and pretty! she also sent this adorable baby blanket that will be used the day we come home from the hospital... there was even a shirt for diego.... and of course papers too... all so lovely, eh?! thank you so much, raesha for your thoughtfulness and kindness!
a couple weeks ago, i received a sweet package from vicki, which i forgot to blog about... she sent me a ton of goodies too including maternity jeans.... ah, yes, they are coming in handy these days!!! vicki also included retro paper coasters, which has become my new fetish.... there was also pretty pink baby envelopes (oh, i can use them for the hill family) and a vintage tin box of pencils... the charmkins stickers are cute too.... not in the photo, was the spiderman that she sent for diego... he loves his spiderman now and wants to wear spiderman undies and use his spiderman toothbrush sent by gerri... so much kindness from the internet world- it makes a gal feel special... thank you so much vicki and gerri!
now, onto artwork... i have a slew of things to do this month.... i mean, there is a ton!!!!! but as stated before, there is no complaints since all of it are fun projects... above is what i worked on earlier today... these are 10 princess ladies for 10 notebooks- all one order... i didn't realize it was 3am when i stopped working either... ah, and here i am blogging when ramel will be waking up for work in less than an hour....
and this is a peek at the other projects on the table... all sketches; some remakes of past illustrations... either way, that to-do list is lengthy... diego goes to daycare today so i should be able to knock out a few itesm on the list... i am definitely going to end february on a good note, artwork-wise....
i think i am rambling now- the bed is calling me, and heartburn is screaming for more rolaids.... the cats are snoring, and so is diego... i should join them... but i must say this- chewbaca (however you spell it) from star wars, whines alot... he was getting to me today... between all the yelling and whining, you'd think i would stop watching the movie eh?! and since i was working on art, i didn't realize that what jabba the hut was saying was in subtitles... somehow, i thought we were supposed to understand his jibberish.... yep, i better go to bed....
