so here is the final of the illustration posted a few times this week.... it was one of the only things i worked on last night since i felt like going to sleep early.... well, i also wanted to spend some time with my husband too despite diego crying for his cup in bed (which he likes to hold, not necessarily chug away at)... i also made a duplicate of pedro the day of the dead atc postcard.... it was a special order for li li....
speaking of day of the dead postcards, here are the ones i received in emily's swap.... viva is by kristen kleas.... the day of the dead boy is by emily... the calavara is by amy lyons (and right next to it, you can see the back part of her atc cards- she included extras!)... the dancing day of the dead skeletons (and print) is by crafty mcgee (rose).... the envelope is by theresa smythe... all beautiful and unique work!!!!
and finally.... this is actually day 2 of potty training.... yesterday there was 6 accidents- none too messy since it only got on his clothes.... and i had to do laundry anyhow.... before yesterday, he did NOT like sitting on the potty chair, but now, he doesn't mind... i don't know if he has figured out to go in there and not on himself, but he is bound to figure it out, right? and if he makes it, he will get a nice justice league set of toys... and what is so great about diego is that he loves his toys IN the box, and we can leave it in there for some weeks before he wants the REAL TOY... and even then, he wants to have the box too... so anyhow, its not very stressful on either of us, but the only progress is less diapers and me having to do laundry more than normal... but like i said, its only been 2 days....
Gorgeous illustration! Love all the little details - you are amazing! And cheers for Diego - one day at a time but it sounds as if it's going well.

Those are GREAT cards.... wonderful swap package!
I can't imagine trying to toilet train. I suppose when the time comes I will be ready for it, but right now I'm thankful that my cat and rabbit learned to use the litterbox on their own.

The illustration turned out great! I just finished taping up your package and will send it out this afternoon. Also, Rosemary (crafty mcgee) is my 1st cousin. We spent almost every weekend together as children at my grandma's house. She is way out in Seattle now and us in PA. We talk more now through our blogs and she and her whole family are coming for a Thanksgiving visit.
