after a couple months of debating over what to have in the shop and how much to sell it for, my etsy shop is finally open... yayyyy! i've been cramming over here trying to make some notecards, new illustrations (which aren't up yet) as well as get rid of my old stock... we will see how it goes!
these cards were made this week... lemme tell you, that boy holding the xbox controller?! see those lil color buttons?! yes, i cut those babies out!! and they are TINY!! see a closeup here...
i did the best i could for pricing... some stuff is cheap considering the time involved- BUT some of them are cards, and realistically, people don't want to spend $7.00 a card, ya know? and shipping!!! well, i did the best i could in guessing what is standard... i hope it's not too high... or horribly too low either... ah, the uncertainties!
i've been busy adding all the stuff today and poor diego is fiending for my time... as soon as ramel gets home, we will go for a walk to the park and i will treat my baby to something special... like i said, there is still more stuff to add to the shop... and more to make... but it's a good start...
so please tell me what you think!! i would love to hear your feedback :) and i hope i didn't overly hype it, ya know?!
ps. this time my friend helped me with some of the tracing and gluing; isn't she sweet?!
The Store looks great - you should be really proud! Your work is amazing.

Congrats on opening your shop!! I'm swinging over to Etsy now....your work is magnificent and truly handmade...I think a lot of folks will appreciate the time and effort you put into each piece. And that you tried to price according to standards is really just a big bonus (for customers, anyway)!!

Everything looks absolutely wonderful! I do think you might be able to sell your cards for a bit more! Maybe $3.00 instead of $2.00? But then again, not sure how much shipping is, so I guess it'd depend on that as well. Crap, I can go buy a hallmark card for over $2.00 and that's not near as cool as getting someone a homemade card!
