Another nearly 5 inch tall framed illustration... There's two more to complete today as well as the hopes of taking a real pumpkin and making pie [or muffins] out of it... Diego brought home a pumpkin and has begged for it to be turned into something great :) We'll see if we can make it happen!
Who can resist Gir and his cupcake?! This is another 4 inch tall magnet sent away... Currently, I'm making a few more magnets and ornaments along with sketching out a couple of illustrations... Giant [soup] cup of coffee + season 8 Smallville reruns = happy illustrator!
Thank you all for being patient on the daily doses... I've had a few projects on the table [that I hope to share soon] but in the middle of it all, this piece is ready to go to its designated home... the tetris pieces are actually individually cut [while watching Thor]... Ramel helped assemble them together since he's better at the game than I :)
Today's daily dose actually features my husband, Ramel Hill's, artwork... This was an illustration for a gears of war 3 contest that we both entered but he actually WON! As a semi-finalist, he won [us] a copy of the game... You can see the bigger version here... Congrats Ramel!!
As legends in Italy tells, La Befana is an old woman who delivers gifts to children throughout Italy on the night of January 5th. She fills the children’s socks with candy and presents if they are good or a lump of coal or dark candy if they are bad. She’s a perfect housekeeper and sweeps the floor before she leaves. She may look like a witch but she’s no ordinary lady! She is available here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/70966414/la-befana-witch-halloween-embellishment
